DIY flaxseed gel

Who would have thought that hair products we  whip up in the kitchen are much better than store bought ones? Not me.

I heard about flaxseed gel but didn’t think about making it until my all time favourite youtuber -whitney white (Naptural 85) updated her how to, and i am in love.

What you need to make your home made gel are:

Flaxseeds

Stockings or a cheese cloth

Water

Pot And spoon (shikenan!)

I bought my flaxseeds from natural nigerian, her products are top notch, just search on google, you wont regret it.

Pour two cups of water into a pot and put 1/2 a cup of the flaxseeds

Let it come to a boil and boil until you notice goey ( gross) stuff at the top. This may take 10 to 15 minutes.

Once it gets goey, turn the heat off and let cool for 30 mins to an hour.

Get your stockings (i decided not to cut mine, just rolled it down ) and pourthe contents of the pot into the foot of the stocking.

Now squeeze and squeeze until you get all the gel out and

Viola! You have your gel. I know that it doesnt look appealing but oh the results!

The gel applied sooo smoothly! And so nicely! I love it.

The end result

Yas!!! Plus i may not look it but i was so excited to try this cake (it was heavenly!!!🙌🏼). Yep, i had a lot of fun at Olihi!

Ok you can see how happy i was. Plus can you tell my hair was defined and frizz free??
